Alexander House wins Residential Care Team (OPPD) at KICA Kent Care Award 2024!

We are thrilled and deeply honored to announce that Kelly Skiggs, one of our exceptional Senior Care Assistants at Alexander House, has won the prestigious KICA Kent Care Award 2024 in the category of Residential Care Worker (OPPD)!

This recognition celebrates Kelly’s unwavering commitment to providing outstanding, person-centered care to our residents. Her dedication and compassion shine through in everything she does, making a remarkable difference in the lives of those she cares for.

Kelly has been an integral part of our team at Alexander House for the past 5 years, starting as a Care Assistant and now excelling as a Senior Care Assistant. Her passion and dedication to providing exceptional, person-centred care is truly inspiring.

Her mantra, “My residents are my people. They are my number one priority,” perfectly captures the care and compassion she brings to her role every single day. This award is a well-deserved recognition of the way she enhances the lives of our residents, always putting their well-being first and working seamlessly with her team.

The awards evening was truly unforgettable. Surrounded by the incredible care community of Kent, we shared stories, celebrated achievements, and felt a tremendous sense of pride and joy. It was a night that will be etched in our memories for years to come.
