Our Leisure & Lifestyle Services are a central part of our community. We are dedicated to enabling and encouraging the residents to lead an activity based lifestyle.

Our activities programmes are devised to be person centred and meet our individual resident’s needs.

The programme has a multifaceted approach and is devised to be; creatively, physically, emotionally and cognitively stimulating.

Here at Harbledown we have an extensive Leisure and Lifestyle Service with various activities such as; Cookery, Arts and Crafts, Poetry and Reminiscence Work. We also are lucky to have lots of entertainers, musicians and volunteers, some of those who come to visit us are Barry and his banjo, Rob T, PAT Dog services, Jazz Bands and so much more.

Harbledown’s Leisure and Lifestyle Co-ordinator explains “The focus of the Leisure and Lifestyle Services here at Harbledown Lodge is always person centred, to bring out the best in each resident and for them to live as a fulfilled life here that is active, meaningful and purposeful. It’s important to find out the likes and dislikes and someone’s life history so we can person tailor the activities and events we offer”

We strive to ensure that our residents; feel appreciated, at all times treated with respect, dignity and with an acknowledgement of their own psychological and emotional needs.
