Kate Green- Manager

I have worked at Whitstable Nursing Home since 2008. I have been a qualified RGN for 11 years and have worked at K&C Hospital on several wards, stroke unit, elderly rehab and general medicine. I am very Passionate about high standards of care at Whitstable, and I am very proud of the team I have around me. I am forever striving to find new ways of shaping the Care we provide at Whitstable, to ensure that it is a place where every individual living here can be proud to call home.

Carole Reynolds- Head Chef

Carole has 29 years of catering experience she has been with us at Whitstable Nursing Home for 19 years and previously to that she spent 10 years at the local school as a dinner lady; her jam and coconut sponge is legendary! She has an NVQ 2 cert in catering and also in food hygiene.

The care, dedication and attention to detail that Carole puts in to providing nutritional, fresh and tasty meals is second to none. She enjoys her work, and is always happy to see empty plates at the end of each meal she prepares.

Carole was also recently a finalist in the category of the Care Nutrition Award at the Kent Care Awards 2016.

Stacey Scott- Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator

Stacey has been with us since April 2016 and has completed various Activity Training, she is also our Dementia Champion. Stacey is very passionate about her job, this is what she says about the Leisure and Lifestyle Programme at Whitstable Nursing Home, “The importance of leisure and lifestyle at Whitstable Nursing Home is the person centred approach that we bring. I have a weekly timetable and give the residents choice in what they do. At Whitstable Nursing Home we have many activities and they include musical bingo, crosswords and reminiscence sessions. I also cover one to ones on a regular basis. The other side is the many links to the community we have with local schools, churches, musical entertainers and other local groups.”

Nick – Administrator /Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator


Nick joined the company in 2014, and undertakes the roles of Home Administrator and Lifestyle & Leisure Coordinator, he enjoys interacting with the residents during activities, his admin skills are beneficial to the running of the home and he is an excellent support to the home manager.
