Meet The Team

Natalie - Registered Manager

Natalie is passionate about care and has dedicated herself to enriching the lives of the residents at the home; ensuring that the service the home provides is meaningful and engaging. She specialises in Dementia Care and has recently received two awards for Dementia Care at the Kent in Care Awards and the London Regional Finals of the Great British Care Awards.Natalie has worked in Social Care for 10 years, she has NVQ Level 5 in Management in Health and Social Care, a BTEC in Employment Law and is the homes Dementia Champion. She has been at Alexander House since 2013 as the Deputy Manager. In October 2016 she became Interim Manager.
 

Natalie is extremely proud of winning both of her awards especially in the category that she was nominated in as she is passionate about dementia care and making a difference in the people’s lives she looks after. She said, “Seeing past the diagnoses of Dementia is so important in ensuing that we provide a meaningful and person centred level of care for our residents. The residents don’t live in our workplace we work in their home.”


Kerry - Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator

Kerry has worked as the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator here since January 2018.
Kerry is a key member of the team helping to plan and create an active and 

Kerry is also one of the homes Dignity Champions. 

Kerry understands the importance of being a Dignity Champion and pledges to "treat everyone the way I would like to be treated. That at the forefront of our care is treating everyone with respect and as an individual."




 

Amy- Deputy Manager

Amy has worked at Alexander House for 3 years. In that time Amy has progressed from Health Care Assitant through to Deputy Manager. Amy has a passion for ensuring that the residents who live at Alexander House recieve person centred and meaningful care. 

Amy likes to think outside of the box and is always thinking about how we can enhance the level of care at Alexander House.

A bubbly and socialable member of the team Amy is always great at coming up with how we can have fun; some of her recent idea are having an evening/night social calendar including celebrating football, regular theme food events and also a Eurovision Party.
 

Claire Marshall- Head Chef

The home is often filled with the warm, comforting aroma of freshly made pies and cakes that brings back floods of memories for our residents.

Lynn Glass- Dignity Champion

As one of our Domestic Assistant Lynn plays an important role in engaging with the residents and supporting them to feel that they are in charge of their lives and the environment that they live in. Lynn uses this approach when assisting the residents to take part in household chores if they want to. Lynn pledges “to create a home from home environment; where clients are enabled to live and do as much as possible! My philosophy is that all care providers should treat their clients as if they were their own parents; their needs come first and foremost.”




Alison Dickson- Dignity Champion

Ali is a core foundation of Alexander House having worked here for 22 years! Her warmth, smile, friendly personality are imbedded in everything she does in her approach to her work. Her sing-a-longs are legendry and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Ali pledges to use her bounty of experience in care to influence all staff to bring positivity, creativity and happiness to the clients. Ali is a treasured member of our care staff who can always brighten up a room with a song or smile.
