We understand that putting your loved one in care can be daunting, however below are some frequently asked questions that can help in making the best decision for those you care about. 

General FAQ’s

Please reach out to us or your nearest care home to discuss your loved one’s care needs and book a tour of the home, our dedicated managers will walk you through the admission process and provide all the information and support needed to help make your decision.  

Care home visits can be arranged with the manager of the respective homes at a convenient date. 

Prospective residents can have their religious needs identified to the relevant manager during the onboarding stage; we will be happy to accommodate all religious and spiritual requests. 

All our rooms are furnished; however, residents are also free to personalise their room with their own furniture to bring a personal touch to their new home. Requests to bring furniture can be discussed with the manager of the relevant home. 

Menus are created with residents’ preferences and tastes in mind and are made fresh on the day. Our menus account for our residents’ dietary restrictions and any relevant medical conditions 

Yes! We arrange a variety of activities and arrange dental, hairdressing and chiropody appointments on behalf of our residents, which are not included in the basic fees.

Funding FAQ’s

A resident may be eligible for Local Authority Funding or NHS Funding depending on their circumstances. Our care home managers are on hand to discuss your financial needs and what options are available to you. 

Financial assessments are conducted by the relevant managers of each care home to assess financial fitness for private clients. 

If a client runs out of funds, funding may be moved to the local council. If you are concerned about depletion of funds, please contact your relevant home manager to discuss funding options. 

Our fees increase every year, with rates being at the discretion of each of the homes and is affected by the duration of the residents stay and their care needs.  

Yes, our notice period is 28 days from contract termination to vacate the home.
