The lounge is equipped with a large television, books, and games, providing entertainment options for residents. The communal space is also the central hub for daily activities, such as music sessions, arts and crafts, and gentle exercises where staff encourage participation while respecting individual preferences.

Life at Charles Lodge

Life at Charles Lodge is vibrant, engaging, and tailored to suit the interests and abilities of its residents. The home offers a variety of activities from quizzes, bingo, and flower arranging to arts and crafts, painting, musical therapy and movement with armchair exercises. Residents also enjoy nature through gardening and bird feeding!

The atmosphere in the home is always kind and caring. Everybody is treated as an individual, with their needs as a priority. There are many activities which the residents can participate in. The food is varied and tasty and my mother has thrived in the home.

I only have high praise for all the staff at Charles Lodge. My mother has only been there for three months, but already she is feeling at home. As a dementia resident, my mother requires a lot of reassurance and patience. The staff are extremely patient, kind and respectful towards her and all other residents and a huge reassurance to myself and family thank you.
