Adam Walker of Eastfield Residential Home has been awarded the prestigious The Stars of Social Care 2025 in the category of The Learning & Development Award
We are incredibly proud to share that Adam Walker, Team Leader at Eastfield Residential Care Home, has won The Learning & Development Award at this year’s The Stars of Social Care Awards, Care Home 2025.
Adam has been a dedicated part of the Nicholas James Care Homes family for many years. He served as Deputy Manager at Eastfield for two years, took a short break, and rejoined us in February as Team Leader. Throughout his career, Adam has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to personal growth and to supporting the development of those around him.
With a wealth of training under his belt—including NVQ Level 5 and Train the Trainer in Moving and Handling—Adam is passionate about sharing his knowledge and helping his colleagues achieve excellence.
His personal motto, “Start each day with a smile,” reflects his positive approach and dedication to creating a supportive, learning-focused environment for both staff and residents.
